Flexibility is my middle name. Actually, it's Marie (just like 85% of girls born in the 90's). I DIGRESS. The wedding day is bound to have some hiccups and sometimes we are forced to alter our original plan. I work quickly on the fly as needed!
I get to know you and your fiancé starting from your engagement session on. So come your wedding day, I can read the room and know whether you need a breather, a moment or even just an ice-cold drink.

It's my special sauce. One of the most crucial pieces of having a stress-free wedding photography experience is hiring a photographer you feel you can trust & connect with. Leading up to your wedding, I learn about what you value most. This allows me to guide you through the day with comfort and ease and allow you the space to be present with your people.
Intuitive and detail-driven
Many of my couples favorite images are the ones they never saw taken. A gentle squeeze from grandma when she catches the first glimpse of you in your gown. The glassy-eyed glances you and your new husband share, fingers intertwined during toasts. These are the moments my couples value most. You can trust I’ll document your day with empathy and intention.

It's true, some things are completely out of your hands and we are forced to alter our original plan. I'll be there to keep our timeline running smoothly and troubleshoot as necessary. I can adapt on the fly whether a last minute venue change, hair and makeup runs late or it hurricanes on your wedding day.

My most requested package from my couples! Adding a second photographer for your wedding means capturing more big and little moments throughout your day.
When my focus is solely on you, my second will be photographing all of your thoughtful details, guests reactions and behind the scenes moments.
This is especially valuable if you have separate getting ready locations as my second would capture the groom and his groomsmen getting ready while I stay with you and your girls.

Custom packages are available upon request. Engagement sessions are complimentary as part of a wedding package.
*A 6% WV sales tax will be added to all packages and options
**Travel fees apply to wedding venues outside of 60 miles (round trip) from the zipcode 25427. Mileage is charged at $0.75/mile beyond 60 miles and up to 200 miles.
Weddings beyond 200 miles are considered destination and additional fees (overnight accommodations) shall apply.
*Package pricing valid for 30 days from date of Client's inquiry.
We love your work. How do we book?
Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I'll need a completed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance will be due at least thirty days prior to the wedding.
How many photos will we receive?
Wedding galleries typically include anywhere between 50-75 images/hour. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Sixty miles of round-trip travel from the Zipcode 25427 is included in your wedding package. Additional mileage is added at $0.75/mile.
When should we schedule engagement photos?
Whenever you would like! I recommend photos at least 5-7 months in advance of the big day to use images for save-the-dates.
What's your shooting style?
A combination of discreet and interactive. It’s important for me to control certain parts of the day (like family portraits) to ensure we stay on schedule and to provide a great experience for you and your guests.
Can I give you a list of ideas/POSES I LIKE?
I do not accept Pinterest boards or shot lists. It's important for me to maintain creative control over the engagement session or wedding day to create images that are truly unique to you as a couple and not an imitation of someone else's work.
IS 8 HOURS ENOUGH TIME?
In my experience, 8 hours is enough time to adequately cover your entire wedding day, highlighting the special moments while still allowing plenty of time for portraits. You can add an additional 1-2 hours of coverage to your package if needed.
Do I need a second photographer?
Having a second shooter means more wedding day coverage and ultimately more images from your special day. When you book two photographers, we can cover more in less time. Which ultimately means more time for bride + groom portraits (my fave!). The second shooter package is my most popular pick!
Do you offer discounts?
Active Military and First Responders (Fire, Police) receive a complimentary gift with wedding packages. Thank you for your service!
