Hagerstown Maryland Newborn Session

The Muhlbach Family – In-home Session

If you live in Hagerstown, Maryland, no doubt have you driven through the wide streets lined with historic homes that make up “The North End”. And if you haven’t – IMAGINE THIS. Beautiful mature trees surrounding sprawling brick homes with crawling ivy. Long winding sidewalks that lead up to the coziest little porches. Gets me right in the Hallmark feels, ya’ll. So you could imagine my excitement when Caitlin and Karl invited me to for a newborn session to document their growing family in their charming home nestled right in the heart of it.

Karl and Cait and big brother, Patch, welcomed baby girl Magdalena Jane just before the end of 2021. They like the nickname MJ – how cute is that?! Patrick is just the sweetest brother, so gentle and kind. He happily showed me his favorite bear, his big boy bed and introduced me to his furry pup, Sam. MJ (Miss Karly is gonna call you MJ, baby girl) loves being snuggled up with her mama and does not like being naked. I repeat – does NOT like being nudey booty! BUT…all for a good cause! We gotta make sure to remember those purply feet straight from the womb! Now if only we could figure out how to bottle up that fresh baby scent…

I am so grateful to document these fleeting newborn days for such kind and special families. The only thing sweeter than their classic home was the love that filled it. Thanks for having me, friends!
