The Kelly Family

 

I spent Saturday shooting back to back rounds of family pictures at Antietam Battlefield. I have been so excited to start shooting now that our grass is green again here in Maryland! Mini session day was the perfect jump back into busy season! We couldn’t have asked for better Spring weather, a beautiful 68° with plenty of sunshine–Absolutely dreamy.

I’ve loved getting to know these families over the last few years and thought it would fun to share a bit about them so you could get to know them too. First up, the Kelly Family! Ryan and Amy have been married for almost 11 years! They have such a sweet story of being childhood neighbors and very best friends. So sweet! Together they share five year old Connor who is equally handsome as he is funny. He loves to wrestle and I may have threatened a body slam or two during our session. Did I mention that I have a six year old at home who loves to be “busted up” on a regular basis? SO TAG ME IN!

I always take the time to get to know what’s important to my families and what they’d like to document during our time together. Amy wanted to remember how much they have grown together as a family. She loves that her and Ryan feel like a team during this season of parenting (tag-team, right?) 😉 She wanted to remember the way Connor’s eyes get really big when he is excited and how he loves to be tickled. I got to see one of Connor’s big bear hugs and the way he loves to snuggle his Mama–and we captured it all.
