In-home Lifestyle Session | Maryland Newborn Photographer

You will probably recognize these beautiful people because they’ve invited me into their lives to capture their growing family several times over the last few years. ❤️ Christina and Adam welcomed their third daughter, Addison Jaymes and she is absolutely perfect.

On this windy October morning, I grabbed an iced coffee for Christina and drove the colorful tree-lined roads to get my hands on baby girl Reid #3! Note: if you’re gonna visit a mama in the midst of newborn life, bring coffee. 

The Fall leaves skipping across the back deck floor boards in front of me, I let myself in the back door. I mean at this point, I’m practically family. 😉  

Lakelyn greets me excitedly with, “I GOT A NEW SISTER!”. That’s the enthusiasm I love, girl. Lakelyn reminds me a lot of my Aubrey Paige. Excited to be a big sister but no understanding how how fragile baby is. 😂 We call this “angry love” in our house where your “this baby is so cute” cup overflows and pours into the overwhelmed emotion with trembling hands and gritting teeth. 

Y’all been there, haven’t you? 

Anywho, these big sisters absolutely adore Miss Addison Jaymes. So many kisses/mouth-to-mouth. Some expected tiffs over who gets to hold the baby and four big sister arms reaching for baby at the same time. Lots of hugs, snuggles and the occasional head lock. We’re working on the gentleness, right, Lake? 😉 

I always tell Adam that he will be a very well-taken-care-of old man. Congrats, Reid Family on your precious new baby girl!
