Martinsburg Newborn Lifestyle Session

The Whited Family

The Whited Family welcomed me into their home for a in-home session to photograph their growing family! They welcomed baby girl Fern Louise to their bunch and she is perfect!

Justin & Mady attend our church (The Church at Martinsburg) and I have the joy of serving in the kid’s class with their sweet boy, Finch. I will forever remember one Sunday I was chatting with another adult when a kiddo came and stood in front of me. Assuming it was my own four year old, I began rubbing their head and face, running my fingers through their hair. After about 45 seconds I looked down and saw it was Finch. I told him, “Sorry buddy! I thought you were mine!”. But he stayed put and continued enjoying every minute of the attention. Finch is so sensitive and sweet–and I can always count on him to give me several hugs during class.

In addition to all the sweet newborn baby things, Mady really wanted to capture Finch’s sweet dimples in all their glory. And let me tell you, we did just that. He was so gentle and kind holding his baby sister. A+ big brother skills already.

Check out all the needlepoint work Mady made for the walls in Fern’s nursery (all the heart eyes). Still hoping one day she teaches me how to do it. 😉 Seriously obsessed!

I’ll let the images do some talking! Enjoy these newborn photos with the Whited Family! Thanks for having me, guys!
