What should we wear?
Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on connection. I’ll send you a simple style guide with outfit inspo so you don’t spiral in front of your closet at midnight. Linen > logos. Bare feet welcome.
My kids won’t sit still. is that okay?
Perfect, actually. My sessions are designed for movement, play, and real-life energy. We follow their lead, take breaks when needed, and turn wiggles into magic. No stiff posing. No forced smiles.
What if my child melts down?
It happens — and it’s completely okay. I’ve photographed families long enough to know that patience, empathy, and a little humor go a long way. Some of the most meaningful images come after the hard moments.
How long is a family session?
Most family sessions last about 45–60 minutes, which is the sweet spot for kids and parents alike. Long enough for connection, short enough to keep everyone happy.
Where do you shoot?
I offer outdoor sessions in beautiful natural locations around the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding areas. Open fields, quiet trails, soft evening light. I’ll help choose the perfect spot based on your family.
Can grandparents or extended family join?
Absolutely. Extended family sessions are a wonderful way to document seasons of togetherness. Family sessions include 3-6 people. Each additional person is $15. Extended family (Aunts, Uncles, Cousins) sessions begin at $750.
how do we book?
Booking is simple. Just reach out through the contact form, and I’ll guide you through the next steps. I can’t wait to photograph your people.
How many images will we receive?
For a full one hour family session, you’ll receive a full gallery of at least 50 carefully edited images. For 30 minute sessions, you'll receive 10 images with option to purchase additional digitals. I believe in giving you plenty to love.
what time of day do you shoot?
I typically photograph families during golden hours, when the light is soft, warm, and flattering. This usually falls 1-2 hours before sunset. It’s worth the bedtime shuffle — promise.
